CMC Fabs, the Critical Materials Council is a Fab Centric organization, originally established by ISMI/SEMATECH in early 1990's, works to identify and, if possible, remediate issues impacting the supply-chains and markets of semiconductor process materials – “Critical Materials”. One key objective of the CMC is to perpetuate a healthy and vibrant materials supply-chain. This is done by way of member activities and events, TECHCET's Critical Materials Reports^TM & information, and the CMC's semiconductor materials conference, the CMC Conference.
