Antoine Amade

Antoine Amade-ImgMr. Amade joined Entegris in 1995 as an application engineer in its semiconductor business. Today, he is the EMEA/NA senior director focused primarily on growing the semiconductor business in North America, Europe and the Middle East through market strategies and the management of sales. For nearly 25 years, Mr. Amade has held leadership positions at Entegris in gas microcontamination market management, strategic account management, and regional sales management. Mr. Amade has a degree in Chemical Engineering from ENS Chimie Lille and is a member of the SEMI Electronic Materials Group, the Global Automotive Advisory Council for Europe (GAAC) and the Platform for Automotive Semiconductor Requirements Along the Supply Chain (PASRASC).


Bruce Lipisko, MBA-MS

BruceLipisko-ImgBruce Lipisko – Director of Special Projects & Sr. Market Analyst of TECHCET – covers program management and business development consulting. He has extensive semiconductor industry experience in product management, business development and operations management for materials and equipment product lines. He has held multiple leadership positions at companies, including RASIRC/Matheson, Arch Chemicals/Olin, and General Chemicals, as well as start-ups such as OnWafer (KLA-Tencor). He has successfully developed and executed M&A strategies, including due diligence, headed-up product management and business development efforts, and managed chemical & eq. manufacturing operations. These efforts have led to both turn arounds of struggling businesses as well as rapid, profitable growth for early stage companies. He also holds multiple domestic and international patents. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.B.A. from Penn State, and an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.

Dan Tracy, PhD

Dan-Tracy-ImgDan P. Tracy, Ph.D. – Sr. Director of Market Research, TECHCET— covers sputtering targets and deposition materials, and is also in charge of training programs. He has over 20 years of experience in the electronics industry covering supply-chain topics related to semiconductor packaging, thin films, semiconductor process equipment, and semiconductor materials. He analyzes dependencies between equipment and materials, and between the front- and back-end of the semiconductor industry, including insights pertaining to LEDs, MEMS, and sensors. Most recently he was the senior director of the Industry Research & Statistics group at SEMI. Previously he worked for Rose Associates covering electronic materials, and for National Semiconductor as a Packaging Engineer. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Chemistry from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

David Thompson, PhD

Jeanne Yuen Hum

Jeanne Yuen Hum-ImgJeanne Yuen-Hum is vice president in Manufacturing and Operations and director of Global Supply Chain Quality and Reliability at Intel Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for all materials and supplier quality programs for Intel's global supply chain to ensure that 100% of all procured materials, capital equipment and services meet Intel expectations for both internal and outsourced manufacturing.

Prior to this role, she was vice president in Technology and Manufacturing Group and director of Customer Quality and Regulatory for 7 years where she led the organization responsible for customer quality & reliability, product regulatory and product safety & security support across all Intel product families.

Yuen-Hum joined Intel Corporation in 1996 as a senior software engineer. She has held numerous leadership positions in software quality to advance software engineering excellence, and in product qualification for communications, wireless and automotive segments.


Kutup Kurt, PhD

Kutup Kurt-ImgAfter gaining bachelor´s degree in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration in Turkey, Kutup Kurt joined to an international master’s degree program, i.e., Process Systems Engineering at the TU Dortmund University in 2010. After his master´s degree, he also gained his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the same university by working at the Laboratory of Equipment Design for developing future technologies of chemical and pharmaceutical industry until 2017.
From August 2017 till May 2020, Kutup Kurt worked as an expert and a certified Lean&SixSigma Black Belt in data-driven projects in the engineering department of Performance Materials (PM) business sector at Merck KGaA in Germany. Since June 2020, he has been working as Head of Data Science at Process Development department in PM. Currently, he and his team are leading several digitalization and data science projects world-wide for PM and Life Science business sectors.


Dr. Lieyi Sheng, PhD

Lieyi Sheng-ImgLieyi Sheng received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Brussels in Belgium. Having worked on product engineering and process integration engineering, he is currently a senior member of technical staff and director of technology and manufacturing reliability at ON Semiconductor. He has extensive publications in Semiconductor, MEMS, and Optoelectronics.


Padraig Timoney, PhD

Padraig Timoney-ImgPadraig Timoney is an MTS engineer in the Optical Metrology Group at Globalfoundries Fab 8 in Malta, New York. He has worked at Globalfoundries since October 2011. Prior to joining Globlfoundries, Padraig completed a PhD entitled “Contact Pressure in Chemical Mechnical Polishing” at University College Dublin. A regular presenter at the SPIE Advanced Lithography Metrology conference, Padraig was awarded the 2018 Diana Nyyssonen Memorial Award for Best Paper at SPIE Advanced Lithography conference on Metrology, Inspection, and Process Control for Microlithography. His paper was entitled “Implementation of machine learning for high-volume manufacturing metrology challenges”. In this talk, Padraig will discuss the role of metrology to enable process improvement. The talk will examine recent advances in metrology techniques and include examples of how these techniques have addressed key metrology challenges in high volume manufacturing.


Philipp Janovsky
