Kanto Corporation and their partners have completed a large scale expansion of their ultra-high purity sulfuric acid production facility. This new expansion will more than double current production capacity of this critical material for integrated circuit production. The new sulfuric acid plant is in final test stages and will be available for customer qualification by Q316. This large expansion of Kanto’s output capacity will satisfy expected growth in North American customer demand requirements through 2022 and beyond.
Kanto Corporation, based in Portland, Oregon, is the North American headquarters of Kanto Chemical Co., manufacturer of electronic grade chemicals. Kanto first began shipments of materials for IC production from Soka, Japan in 1963, and today maintain nine additional factories.
